Academy Resumed in February
As one of the most important
programs we offer in Nkobongo, we are excited that our tutoring
program has begun in full. Encouraged by the success
of our pilot program last fall, we have hired a part-time
administrator to run this program which coincides with the standard
school year, bringing together not only students with teachers, but
vulnerable children with mentors.
An
African Festival in March
The festival was a big success! Thanks to everybody who
helped, contributed, or was involved!
As part of our awareness and fund raising activities, Imbasa partnered with CHABHA and Friends of Little Field Home to present an afternoon of African culture at the Guy E Rowe School in Norway, Maine.
